"Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..."

How to Help Us

New Hope needs your help

  • Your volunteer help even for a short time each month
  • Your financial support
  • Your prayers

Most of you have had the experience of reaching out to help others and discovered that you have received back more than you have given. In New Hope there exists a focused service group to infants and to unmarried mothers who, against the pressures of society and even their families and friends, have made the beautiful choice of life for these babies. We are compelled to be a positive force - or their needs will go unmet...

Recent example of how to support New Hope
Some college friends were involved in planning a large baby shower for a friend. About 70 people were invited to a buffet at a lovely restaurant. The planners wanted to be creative about a party favor at each plate. They were shocked at the prices for favors. One of them had an idea: why not just buy a simple cardboard favor and print on it, "A donation in your honor has been made to New Hope, Inc., a non-profit outreach program to help single moms and their babies."

They figured they were saving $2 each and sent a check for $140 to New Hope in honor of the guests and the new baby. How delightful! Spread the word!

Please consider:

  • Becoming a mentor
  • Doing office or managerial work, usually out of your own home
  • Becoming involved in fundraising
  • Advertising New Hope's cause
  • Working on obtaining faith-based initiative funding
  • Contacting civic groups or places of worship to set up speaking engagements

Teens and college students: Wondering what you can do to help? Do you have a special talent or ablility? Do you need experience in field of expertise?

Here is one example of how a college student used her talents to create awareness of New Hope's message:

What a joy it is when New Hope is involved in the "Pass it forward" process! An energetic college student from William Paterson University heard New Hope speak at St. Joseph's Church in Oradell in October and felt moved to have us speak at her university. Since she was on the Dance Troupe and was part of planning the recital, she presented New Hope's cause to the administration. New Hope was chosen as the charity to profit from the recital and speakers were offered the opportunity to give a presentation before the recital began. An audience of 24 was expected but it turned out to be a standing room only crowd of 180 students.

Students ~ here is your opportunity to get the message out about New Hope and help women and babies in need! Call us or email to provide you with an opportunity that suits your schedule and abilities.
