Bergen Community College Volunteer Fair
This event was so successful that we now have great contacts there and are laying the plans for a New Hope Club. Amazing conversations and
sharing about adoption, abstinence and abortion.

St. Joseph's Church, Oradell
Many new energetic volunteers came forward and enough money was raised to pay for several educational, rental and childcare subsidies.
Thanks to the staff and the congregation!

Antique, Fine Art, and Artifacts Appraisal and Sale
Our local version of the "Antiques Roadshow" was so much fun, even if
you didn't bring a treasure for appraisal. There was a $6,000 paperweight,
a fake Dali print, and lots of education about interesting items!
Thanks to all who planned the event and for the gifts of two original paintings by Lauren Ennist and Bob Lampert for our gift table.

Marie Golden, Carol Lavis, Anita Minnick, Marilyn Laquidara, and Carolyn MacDonald were on the team of Christmas elves who distributed twenty bags of toys and clothes to New Hope clients for Christmas, 2009.

Second Annual Gala - Dinner and Silent Auction was held at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club on Sunday evening, October 19, 2008 and was a huge success. Hundreds of prizes were given away including a weekend getaway, a professional oil painting, a private portrait photo shoot and many other delightful items!

Marilyn Laquidara is presented with a certificate for outstanding dedication to New Hope since 1988. Marilyn organized and administered a day-care center for New Hope in the 1980's and has been a mentor and assistant administrator for New Hope.

Montvale artist Carolyn MacDonald and Rosemary Burman, both of New Hope, Inc. (and puppy Katie) review paintings by Ms. MacDonald.

Carol Lavis, Administrator of New Hope, Inc., admires the paintings of Montvale artist Carolyn MacDonald. A selection of Ms. MacDonald's prints were offered at the Second Annual New Hope Dinner and Silent Auction.

Christmas 2007 Toys and Goodies

We would like to thank the Closter NJ Police Department. For the second year these generous community servants have included New Hope, Inc. in their Christmas toy distribution program.
And also a very sincere thank you to St. John the Evangelist Parish in Bergenfield, NJ and Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Park Ridge, NJ who have included our wants and needs on their Christmas Giving Trees. These gifts of clothes, diapers, monetary donations and ShopRite cards make such a difference in the lives of our single mothers and their babies. And a special thanks to our New Hope elves who assemble all the Christmas bags of gifts and deliverers who drop off these bags in Moonachie, Garfield, Englewood, Teaneck, Hackensack, Elmwood Park, etc. Such teamwork at this busy time of year is an inspiration.

Gala Dinner and Silent Auction was Huge Success!

The New Hope Gala Dinner and Silent Auction, which took place on October 14, 2007 at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club was a huge success. The event was well attended with 130 guests including Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk and Monsignor Carl Hinrichsen. Over $8,200 was raised. Many thanks to the guests and volunteers who made this event a success.
